What Is T-Polyure Coating?
T-Polyure is a polymer coating applied to the inside of the glove during manufacturing. Its purpose is simple: help the hand slide in smoothly, even when hands are slightly damp.
Unlike chlorination — the more common powder-free surface treatment — T-Polyure does not rely on chlorinating the latex film. The result:
- Easier dry-hand donning, and workable donning with damp hands
- Less skin irritation compared with chlorinated gloves
- No chemical accelerators known to cause latex allergic reactions (DPG-free)
For OR staff who change gloves between cases, this saves time and reduces the risk of contaminating the sterile field during donning.
Key Features
Powder-free, sterile. Each pair is individually wrapped and sterilized by electron beam (E-Beam). No cornstarch powder means no powder residue on instruments, wounds or the sterile field.
Calibrated micro-grip. The outer surface has a micro-textured finish with a medium, consistent grip — enough to hold instruments securely without the exaggerated texture of a heavy-duty glove.
Anatomical fit. Forward thumb design and hand-specific shaping reduce hand fatigue during long procedures.
100% air-leak tested. Every glove is individually air-leak tested and visually inspected before release. Final AQL is 0.65.
DPG-free formulation. No diphenylguanidine (DPG) accelerator, which is one of the chemical accelerators commonly associated with contact allergies.
